AI for every phone on Earth.
Ask Kira anything by dialing a short code or calling a toll‑free number. No internet. No app. No smartphone. Just the phone already in your pocket.
Works on any GSM phone, from a 2005 flip phone to today's flagship. Sessions are free to try.
The first AI you can reach over USSD.
USSD is the same channel you use to check airtime. It runs on the voice network, not the data network, so it reaches places no app ever will. AskKira answers inside it, 160 characters at a time.
Just call. Kira picks up.
A toll‑free number that answers on the first ring, listens, and talks back in one or two clear sentences. No hold music, no menus to press through. Speak the way you'd speak to a person.
- Free to call from any landline or mobile.
- Interrupt any time. Kira stops talking the moment you start.
- Say "goodbye" and the call ends. That's the whole interface.
- English, Swahili, Hindi, Arabic, French, Spanish and more.
Multi‑language
The recorded call uses Kira's neural voice. Your own questions are answered with your browser's speech engine.
Works where the internet doesn't.
Rural signal, a power cut, a borrowed phone, a data plan that ran out on the 20th. AskKira keeps answering because it runs on the one network that never went away.
No internet
Every session travels on the signalling channel of the cellular network. One bar of 2G is enough.
No smartphone
If a phone can dial a number, it can talk to Kira. Feature phones, flip phones, the handset behind the shop counter.
Nothing to install
No app store, no updates, no account to create. Dial once and you're in. Sessions end themselves after 90 seconds of silence.
Three steps. About ten seconds.
Dial
Open your keypad and dial *384*22#. The AskKira menu appears on screen within a second.
Ask
Press 1, type your question the way you'd type a text, and send. Any language your keypad can spell.
Read
Kira replies on the same screen. Press 98 for more, 0 to go back to the menu.
Call
Dial 1‑800‑555‑0134 from any phone. Kira answers with a short greeting and a beep.
Talk
Ask your question out loud. Interrupt whenever you like; Kira listens the moment you speak.
Hang up
Say goodbye or just end the call. Nothing to close, nothing to log out of.
AI inclusion.
Roughly a third of humanity has never been online. Almost all of them own a phone. The most powerful technology of our lifetime shouldn't need a $1,000 device and a data plan to reach them. Kira meets people on the network they already have.
Everything an app needs. Nothing Kira does.

Bring Kira to your subscribers.
Give your network a short code and a toll‑free line with Kira behind it. You set the menu, the languages, the tone and the limits. We handle the AI, the pagination and the session logic.
Issued by your telco or aggregator, pointed at our gateway. Live in days, not quarters.
Design root menus and prompts for your market: crop prices, clinic hours, exam prep, public services.
Pick the greeting, the voice and the language. Callers hear your brand, powered by Kira.
Session logs live on your side of the webhook. Nothing is sold, nothing is trained on.
Good questions, short answers.
Does it really work without internet?
Yes. USSD and voice both run on the cellular signalling and voice channels, the same ones that carry your calls and airtime checks. If you can make a call, you can use AskKira.
What does it cost?
The toll‑free line is free to call. USSD sessions are free to try; where an operator charges for USSD, the rate is shown on the first screen before you continue.
How long can an answer be?
USSD shows 160 characters per screen. Kira writes to fit, and longer answers continue when you press 98. On the voice line, Kira keeps replies under fifteen seconds so you're never stuck listening.
Which languages does Kira speak?
Ask in the language you type or speak. Kira answers in kind, with the best coverage today in English, Swahili, Hindi, Arabic, French, Spanish and Portuguese.
Is it private?
Sessions are tied to your phone number, not to a name or an account. Conversations aren't used to train models, and you can ask Kira to forget a session at any time.
Built for the networks people already use.
USSD and voice run on standard GSM, so AskKira works on carriers across Africa, South America and the Caribbean, from the largest operators to regional networks.
Compatibility list. Names are the property of their respective operators and do not imply partnership.
Pick up any phone.
That's the whole onboarding. Dial the code or call the number and ask Kira something you've been wondering about.
